Brake pads made of sintered metal from Kool-Stop
The Aero Pro have an aluminum back plate that can be reused. The brake carriers are made of copper and the air-cooled aluminum heat sink ensures an extreme temperature reduction. The brake pad back plate is thinner compared to conventional ones and therefore only fit on this brake carrier. These brake pads are designed for the most extreme conditions.

Sintered
The sintered disc brake pads are developed to ensure the highest braking performance under extreme conditions, such as XC, DH, trail and slalom. Kool-Stop pads require a short break-in period before they reach their full performance when braking power, stability and service life are required. Sintered brake pads should not be used at the same time as ceramic brake discs or in closed hydraulic brake systems.
