The Daytona helmet series completely redefines the marriage of technology, safety and artistic design. Troy Lee Designs D4 carbon helmet once again sets new standards. We've managed to strategically increase strength and durability while keeping overall weight to a minimum. This model also features an integrated MIPS brain protection system, lightweight titanium D-rings, collarbone suspension system, quick-detachable XT2 3D cheekpads and a washable Ionic lining.
The D4 Carbon helmet uses carefully selected sizes and shapes of UD (unidirectional) carbon fiber panels that are strategically applied. The unpainted or clear helmet features this multi-layered structure of carbon fiber throughout the shell. This is normal and the intended appearance.
