A new experience in cycling
Choosing new paths is not just a question of attitude. This can also become the goal of a company that has been producing bicycles for more than 116 years.
With the Rave SLR, Wilier Triestina has set her sights on new horizons. They have created a product that has two souls within it. One for Allroad, the other for Gravel. And both perfect for racing.
Expect the unexpected
Both colors of the Rave SLR can be paired with high-end road gear (Shimano Dura Ace Di2, Shimano Ultegra Di2, Sram Force AXS) or with high-end gravel gear (Campagnolo Ekar, Shimano GRX or the Sram Force AXS XPLR) with road tires or gravel tires up to 42 mm can be equipped.
Light and reactive
To make the frame light, Wilier used the same carbon mix as the Filante SLR and Wilier 0 SLR.
And to make the frame reactive, they took advantage of all their experience gained in working with technopolymers by mixing carbon with special viscoelastic fibers such as liquid crystal polymers. Construction technologies borrowed from those used in Filante SLR and Wilier 0 SLR: products with excellent steering behavior, as confirmed by the most demanding riders.
Powerful
For Wilier, performance is a fixed idea that they have always pursued. At Rave SRL it couldn't be any different. The implementation of performance specifically means: a light, reactive (possibly rigid) frame with the geometry of a racing bike.
Balanced racing geometry
To produce a frame with balanced racing geometry, Wilier started from the top racing bike models from racing reference manufacturers and mixed them with frame sizes from the endurance and gravel sectors, without losing sight of the performance target set at the beginning of the project . A slightly higher stack and a slightly shorter reach compared to pure racing bikes, which in combination with the available monocoque carbon handlebars represent a perfect mix of high performance and comfort.
Handlebars and integrated cables
Aside from their low weight, the 0-bar and J-bar monocoque handlebars offered for the Rave SLR offer the option of holding brake and gear cables and guiding them inside the frame. The handlebar/stem connection features an essential design with curved and rounded lines to guarantee the maximum ergonomics of the grip and give the Rave SLR that typical elegance of Wilier Triestina's high-end products.
Easy fit spacers
The spacers between the frame's head tube and the handlebars are made of high-rigidity composite material and have a special cavity for cable routing. The two-part construction allows for easy assembly and disassembly without additional work on the cables that run between the handlebars and frame.
