Ritchey
The story of Ritchey started over 35 years ago out of disaffection about the components that were on the market for some time. Heavy bikes and components that missed functionality and elegance.
With like-minded friends Tom Ritchey developed a new category of bikes driving them down the Mount Tampalais - mountain bikes.
By the time Tom's company Ritchey Design expanded its product range next to frames with numerous other components - innovative, light and stable products that are enjoyed by generations of drivers. The inspiration for new components often comes when Ritchey is on his way on his bike. Togehter with his team of developers Tom Ritchey then implements his ideas with the goal of creating elaborate improvements for existing products as well as generating groundbreaking new products. Thanks to the decades of experience a sophisticated design arose which defies fast moving trends.
