The free choice
Jena is your new carbon gravel bike that offers you the greatest possible freedom of choice for all your tours. Whether pure performance on unpaved roads, single trails or adventure, exploration or bikepacking, Jena is the bike that meets all your needs. Jena is a light, responsive and agile bike with a comfort-focused road bike geometry that can adapt to the diverse uses of a gravel bike.
Lightweight carbon frame with a striking look
Comfortable racing bike geometry
The Jena's 60TON carbon monocoque frame is manufactured in 5 sizes (from XS to XL) with geometries that enable a high level of comfort without sacrificing the typical reactivity and performance features of Wilier competition bikes. The slightly more open head tube angle ensures quality and stability of driving behavior even in the most demanding terrain. The rear triangle, on the other hand, was designed to react particularly well to vertical loads and to absorb most shocks caused by uneven ground.
Area of application
Jena sets no limits to the variety of possible applications and available configurations. The clearance between the frame/fork and wheels allows the installation of voluminous tires on 28" wheels or MTB wheels with a 650B diameter. 28" rims can accommodate tires up to 44 mm wide, while in combination with 650B MTB rims up to 48 mm wide, i.e. 1.95" tires can be mounted (tested with Vittoria tires).
Numerous brackets are available for installing bottle cages, bags and luggage racks or mudguards. For example, two water bottles or a lowrider luggage rack for bags can be attached to the front fork.
Brake system
Jena is only offered with flat-mount disc brakes, with 160 mm discs as standard. 12 mm thru-axles are provided for the wheels, with an installation width of 100 mm on the fork and 142 mm on the rear triangle.
Comb tail design
Although aerodynamics play a minor role in gravel, an aerodynamic down tube was developed for the Jena to give the bike the shape with a cut-off tail that is typical of Wilier's aerodynamic chassis.
Removable front derailleur holder
The front derailleur mounting bracket can be removed when using a groupset with a single chainring - very popular in gravel sports. You always have the choice between a double or single chainset without compromising the look of the bike.
