Saves valuable weight compared to the normal Speedneedle! Alcantara is a high-quality synthetic suede with a particularly low weight and excellent abrasion resistance. The matt look looks particularly elegant and offers an excellent feel.

The Speedneedle by Jürgen Mikus offers the same seating comfort as a good standard saddle and yet it beats it by far in weight. By bending the saddle shell and the yielding of the seat pad, normal saddles press the perineum area, this is not the case with stiff saddles (Speedneedle). The result is better blood circulation, no numbness. In addition, the recessed padding in the perineal area prevents numbness.
Thanks to the carbon-aramid mix of the rails, there is no need for additional wrapping. The Speedneedle frame has a large clamping area, which makes it possible to use straight supports on almost all bikes. XC European champion Sabine Spitz and even downhill champion Marcus Klausmann are enthusiastic about the Speedneedle.

Every single Speedneedle saddle is handcrafted personally by Jürgen Mikus. Jürgen Mikus runs a small carbon factory in Leverkusen. Here he has been producing his saddles for years with a lot of love and dedication. That makes the Speedneedle an exclusive product!
