PowerLock®

SRAM chain engineers have developed PowerLock as a tool-free, secure and consistent way to connect our chains. Although PL does not require any special assembly tools, each PowerLock should only be used once, given the tight tolerances of a 10- and 11-speed drive.

X-SYNC ™

SRAM X-SYNC ™ 1x chainrings provide the highest performance and durability. The long SRAM X-SYNC ™ serrations grip the chain earlier than traditional triangular teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile and the rounded oblique edges support the chain guide. To provide the best possible performance on muddy terrain, the X-SYNC ™ chainrings have recesses to remove debris and mud from the inner links and pulleys. The X-SYNC ™ chainrings manufactured in Germany are an important part of the SRAM 1x ™ drive.
