A major overhaul

ASSOS saw the possibility of increasing comfort and reducing weight without compromising compression or aerodynamic properties. Targeted additional stretch and support offer optimized aerodynamics and compression and at the same time reduce pressure on sensitive areas of the body. The new design also dries faster, preventing moisture from building up and adding weight.

• Type.701 compressor material: The unique selling point of the Équipe RSR S9 bib shorts is the woven material. It impresses with its compression, friction-free comfort and wear resistance - with simultaneous UV protection (USF 50+), odor neutralization and active cooling. Cushions made from Ossidia complement the optimal hold of the Type.701 fabric with targeted stretchability in sensitive areas, which creates a tight fit that does not require any loss of comfort
• A-Lock Engineering: rollBar carrier, modified ergoBox and your one-piece Butterfly pads support you with every movement in the saddle and ensure smooth comfort and stability while you perform at your best
• Carbon Xbib: An A-shaped frame with a short vertical stretch on the back ensures a secure fit and stabilizes the chamois. Double-sided carbon material leads to a shorter drying time compared to the previous, one-sided application.
• Superlight Leg Grippers: Compressive leg grippers with silicone trim hold the cuffs and leg sections in place, offer compressive hold over the entire thigh and manage with minimal transitions between the skin and the shorts
• S9 Sundeck INSERT: A redesigned cushion that is lighter, cools better and has less surface. The odor-resistant top layer made of microfiber is now available in a gray color made from 3D basalt. A tribute to volcanic rock that gives us strength, stability and courage.
• Shock-Absorb Damping System Mono 9: Compressive, 9mm thick foam layers with 3D waffle, for a lower weight and increased air exchange. A thermoformed cut reduces annoying transitions
• goldenGate: A stitch pattern in which the front and back are sewn, but the padding can move freely - with you instead of against you
• Sundeck Superlight: A section of soft, comfort-designed material on the front of the pad that improves airflow, reduces pressure on the most sensitive parts of the body and allows the entire shorts to fit better
