Trail bike with SRAM transmission
When Specialized call the Stumpjumper the ultimate trail bike, they mean it. Because it has everything you could wish for in a trail machine. Want a bike that climbs with ease? Thanks to the fundamentally revised chassis and the lowest frame weight in its class, climbs are no problem for the Stumpjumper. How about a bike that's always ready to shred the really rough trails? Here, too, the new chassis design transforms the Stumpjumper into an absolute downhill monster. Of course in combination with our new Trail Geometry and the Rider-First Engineered™ approach - the perfect mix of stiffness and light weight. No matter which trail you choose, let the party begin.
Like all S-Works bikes, the S-Works Stumpjumper is impressively equipped. The high-end XX Eagle Transmission electronic drive from SRAM handles shifting, while FOX Factory suspension elements ensure a smooth ride.
highlights
- The gold standard for trails: When Specialized set out to design the all-new Stumpjumper, they set their sights pretty high. The bike should excel on any type of trail or riding style. To achieve that, they planned serious weight reduction without sacrificing durability, a stiff yet responsive frame that's easy and lively to ride, geometry that enhances the riding experience for every rider, and the best chassis kinematics to go with it Specialized were able to. Turns out that you can have the whole pie instead of a piece
- The most powerful 130 mm of travel you've ever ridden: Specialized worked on the Stumpjumper's kinematics until they got the best all-round performance out of the 130 mm package. Countless hours of development in the suspension lab and testing in the great outdoors has resulted in a mid-travel trailbike that swallows rough terrain as easily as its gravity kin, handles like a dream everywhere, and climbs like it has a motor
- Progressive geometry: The modern S-sizing geometry of the new Stumpjumper hits the sweet spot. Long, low, slack, a low-offset fork, a steeper seat tube angle - all this makes your ride a better experience with more stability and great cornering and climbing behavior. With the FlipChip you can adapt the bike even better to you and your style and ensure that your new Stumpjumper delivers absolutely on every terrain
- Rider-First Engineered™: Bike frames with Rider-First Engineered™ ensure that the characteristics of the bike remain approximately the same across all frame sizes. Incredible handling and flawless performance are guaranteed regardless of frame or body size. It doesn't matter whether you're an S1 rider who likes to jump over everything or a downhill-addicted giant on your S6 bike - you both share the same riding experience: rail-like cornering and balanced stiffness between the front and rear wheels at a shockingly low weight
- SWAT™: When Specialized introduced the SWAT™ box on the Stumpjumper in 2016, they freed up storage space in your frame for all the essentials you need when you yell “Oh sh*t!” out loud on the trail. A pump, spare tube and mini-tool easily fit and make straps on the frame superfluous
