The Perfetto RoS is the jacket that can optimally cover almost all conditions. If you look closely, the Perfetto RoS 2 Jacket is basically a long-sleeved version of the Gabba RoS 2. So just a warmer Gabba? Not quite.

Complete with sleeves, it becomes a jacket that covers an enormously wide range of conditions. As with the Gabba, the RoS mark means it excels thanks to high breathability in both dry and wet conditions thanks to Castelli-exclusive GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® materials. There's a lightweight, fleece-lined, water-repellent version on the front and an even lighter, stretchier material on the back that maximizes breathability while providing excellent water repellency.

The Perfetto RoS 2 Jacket effectively blocks cold airflow and is much more breathable than the typical polyurethane membranes of most competitors. Staying drier means fewer layers of clothing are required underneath the jacket. The advantage of this jacket is that it does not require any insulation, so a thin base layer underneath is sufficient on mild days, while more insulation (such as a thermal jersey or Castellis Cold Days 2nd Layer) is appropriate in cold temperatures. You have the choice. The "2" in the name refers to the update to the latest version, including a YKK® Vislon® 2-way zipper for better adjustable ventilation. The reflective trimmings on the back are more visible, the shoulder seam has been moved back and the back pockets offer more volume. While the Perfetto is still trimmed for maximum performance, the new model offers a little more space in the chest, shoulder and biceps areas.
