Ultra Sport II racing tires
The Ultra Sport II offers all the performance you need as a racing cyclist: reliable puncture protection thanks to the sturdy 3/180 TPI construction, sufficient grip and mileage thanks to the silica-based tread compound. The size selection gives the finishing touch in the vote on the purpose. For racers, the 23mm Ultra Sport is in the starting blocks, Tourer and long-distance rider find in the 25mm tire more comfort. If the frame allows it, 28mm offers more grip, more comfort and more puncture protection - criteria that even professionals do not want to do without in the spring classics.
And if you like it a bit more colorful, opt for a model with a colored flank.

Pure grip
On the basis of the activated silica compound, a targeted effort was made to create a mix technology in the performance segment. The result of the Korbacher Continental R & D department, after intensive development, resulted in a new compounding technology with excellent grip and cross-country skiing characteristics. The new rubber compound with the self-explanatory name "PureGrip" ranks behind the BlackChili compound and is used in performance products of the Race and Mountainbike segments. Here it provides long-lasting traction and high mileage of Continental tires, which are manufactured exclusively in the production plant in Hefei (Asia).
