The Zipp 353 NSW Tubeless for disc brakes is the culmination of Zipp's pursuit of versatility and speed. This wheel set combines the two most advanced approaches from Zipp, the Sawtooth rim profile and the Total System Efficiency technology, into one comprehensive performance approach.

Tubeless for disc brakes

With its wavy, 45mm high rim shape, the 353 NSW offers speed in any terrain with first-class aerodynamic efficiency and crosswind stability. The 353 NSW is the lightest tubeless wheel set from Zipp to date, making it a fast puncher ready to fight its way into the escape group.

The use of hookless (straight) rims in the 353 NSW is an essential part of “Making You Faster”. With hookless, the transition between tire and rim is more seamless and aerodynamic. Zipp's hookless rims have more efficient resin distribution, which means lighter and stronger wheels.

The sawtooth rim shape of the Zipp 353 NSW with Hyperfoils optimizes aerodynamic efficiency and crosswind stability. The Sawtooth design also allows the rim to be structurally strong but light. This will help you accelerate out of corners and maintain that speed regardless of the terrain, especially on short, crisp climbs.

The Zipp 353 NSW uses the TSE (Total System Efficiency) approach for wheel design and overcoming specific speed barriers: wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance and vibration losses. The inner width of the rims of 25mm is perfect for driving wider, tubeless tires with reduced air pressure.

At the heart of the 353 NSW is the Cognition V2 hub set, which has been redesigned with an updated Axial Clutch V2 mechanism for faster engagement, less friction and improved durability.
