Thanks to the OneShot pressing and compression process specially developed for chainrings, Praxis Works chainrings have significantly more and significantly more complex climbing aids, shifting aids and tooth profiles than only CNC-made blades from many other manufacturers. The forging process also ensures a harder and more wear-resistant surface. Forging the chainrings is a technically very demanding and expensive, additional, manufacturing step. So it is not surprising that most other manufacturers prefer to save them. However, this is where the decisive advantage of Praxis Works chainrings arises, because the process simply allows a significantly more advanced shifting aid design.
