No spider but just as flexible
As the connecting piece between handlebars and fork, the stem is a small but very important part for a back-friendly posture on the bike.
The handlebar stem carries a significant part of the cyclist's weight, especially when pedaling out of the saddle. Thanks to a high-quality material composition, it fulfills this task excellently. The lightweight aluminum 6061 is combined with stainless steel screws. The cold-forged stem is optimally equipped for any load.
The divisible "Tarantula" stem is mounted with the shaft clamp at a height of 40 mm and is one of the so-called Ahead stems. The indispensable component from CONTEC is available for 1 1/8" (28.6 mm) steerer tube diameter. The 4 screw clamps for uncomplicated assembly are already included in the scope of delivery.
This high-quality handlebar stem scores above all with the fact that it is individually adjustable. In a range from -30 to +40°, it meets the personal needs of the driver. An adjustment to the physique or the driving style is just as possible as an adjustment for an ergonomic posture. Last but not least, the optics are not neglected. Every cyclist decides for himself whether the adjustable helper beautifies his bike discreetly and simply or shiny.
