The Monkey Bone is an adapter to direct the torque for the Rohloff SPEEDHUB 500/14 directly into the frame. To use the Monkey Bone, you need a SPEEDHUB 500/14 equipped with an OEM2 axle plate, a frame with International Standard 2000 (IS2000) disc brake mount and a Postmount disc brake caliper (PM). The Monkey Bone is not compatible with IS2000 calipers or frame with postmount recording.
