The X0 Eagle Transmission rear derailleur is an integrated and interdependent transmission component that mounts directly to the axle of the wheel and directly contacts the cassette with a unique hanger-free interface. This fundamentally changes the relationship between the cassette and the rear derailleur. In addition, the full-mount attachment creates a much stronger connection that grips either side of the frame.

The new Transmission rear derailleurs can be coupled and set up just as intuitively as SRAM's Eagle AXS rear derailleurs. It's no exaggeration to say that the X0 Eagle Transmission rear derailleur takes a giant leap in off-road ruggedness and allows for all the common maintenance that demanding riders expect. It is equipped with an Overload Clutch that increases resilience and has protective covers on the B-Knuckle and outer joint that are fully interchangeable or can be upgraded to the XX Skid Plate.

SRAM calls the switching logic behind it eTAP. The right lever shifts to the higher gear, the left to the lower gear. You can control the chainrings using both levers. Simple, smooth and intuitive.

X-SYNC™
X-SYNC™ 1x chainrings from SRAM ensure maximum performance and durability. The long SRAM X-SYNC™ tooth edges engage the chain earlier than traditional triangle-shaped teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile as well as the rounded sloping edges support the chain guidance. In order to offer the best possible performance even in muddy terrain, the X-SYNC™ chainrings have recesses for the inner chain links and rollers to evacuate dirt and mud. Made in Germany, X-SYNC™ chainrings are an important part of SRAM's 1x™ drivetrain.
