PureGrip Compound - the excellent compound technology
Based on the activated silica compound, we worked purposefully towards a compound technology in the performance segment. After intensive development work, the result of the Korbach research and development department brought about a new compound technology with excellent grip and cross-country skiing properties. The new rubber compound with the self-explanatory name "PureGrip" ranks behind Continental's BlackChili Compound and is used in performance products in the race and mountain bike segments. Here it ensures long-lasting traction and high mileage of Continental tires, which are exclusively manufactured in the production plant in Hefei (Asia).
SafetyPro
The new SafetyPro Breaker developed from nylon fabric. Woven textile fibers that are strong and flexible at the same time. Maximum puncture protection with minimal added weight. The risks of punctures caused by glass or sharp stones are greatly reduced.
E50 - E-Bike Ready
For e-bike tires, Continental draws on more than 100 years of experience with moped and motorcycle tires. All city/trekking tires reach at least the standard up to 25 km/h. The tires marked with E50 are also approved for S-Pedelecs. With their high-quality construction, they have high puncture protection, low rolling resistance and protection against premature wear due to the additional driving force.
