The Stumpjumper EVO Pro leaves nothing to be desired
The Stumpjumper EVO Pro leaves nothing to chance when it comes to trail performance. With its completely new design, from S-sizing with adjustable head tube angle to 150mm travel, this part is the ultimate trail weapon - low weight and lots of stoke on top. Fox Factory suspension? Check. 30mm wide carbon wheels? Check. XO1 Eagle Drive? Right. You get all those goodies with the Stumpjumper EVO Pro.
highlights
- Even the longest travel is useless without the right tune. Therefore, the design of the new Stumpjumper EVO prioritizes the performance of the kinematics. Using learnings from the Enduro's chassis design and more than 1,000 hours of development work on the trail and in the chassis lab, they've vastly improved uphill pedaling efficiency while creating a capable, efficient and lively bike that every rider aspires to. In addition, Specialized has increased the anti-squat value so that the chassis resists bobbing better. Angular obstacles are swallowed lightly, which means that less speed is lost. With this bike you can shred after every style
- With S-sizing, the geometry of the Stumpjumper EVO is their most progressive yet. Long, low, flat, a fork with little offset, a steeper seat tube angle - these are the requirements for modern mountain biking. However, different riders have different demands on their bike, which is why the geometry of the Stumpjumper EVO can be individually adjusted to their needs with six different settings. Not only can the bottom bracket height be changed by 10mm, but also the head tube angle by up to two degrees. And all of this independently of each other. If you want to ride a 27.5″ rear wheel in connection with a 29″ front wheel with the EVO: No problem, there is also the perfect setting for this
- Bike frames with Rider-First Engineered™ ensure that the characteristics of the bike remain approximately the same across all frame sizes. Incredible handling and flawless performance are guaranteed regardless of frame or body size. It doesn't matter whether you're an S1 rider who likes to jump over everything or a downhill-addicted giant on your S6 bike - you both share the same riding experience: cornering like rails and balanced stiffness between the front and rear wheels at a shockingly low weight
- When Specialized introduced the SWAT™ box on the Stumpjumper in 2016, they freed up storage space in your frame for all the essentials you need when you yell “Oh sh*t!” out loud on the trail. A pump, spare tube and mini-tool find enough space and make straps on the frame superfluous. With the new Stumpjumper, Specialized kept the same design cues but increased volume and added a SWAT™ bladder. With this you can transport an additional 650ml of water. It's like having a small water bottle hidden in your down tube
