Every second counts in a race and you can't afford to waste even a fraction of it. The X-Track race Carbon Ti pedals were specially developed for the most demanding courses. The geometry of the mechanics is designed to be easy to operate in all conditions, removing any disruptive elements such as mud or sand. The titanium body offers a contact area of 515mm², while the titanium axle ensures a stiff and light pedal: only 145 grams underfoot.

The best power-to-weight ratio

All the energy you produce is transferred to your MTB through your pedals. The role of the pedals is therefore crucial.

With this new challenge, LOOK has set itself the goal of finding solutions that enable the driver's performance to be transmitted as efficiently as possible. For this reason, LOOK has chosen to give a key role in defining the product to the ratio between weight and contact surfaces. In general, the larger the contact area, the more efficiently energy is transferred. On the other hand, a larger contact area also means a heavier pedal. So Look's engineers were faced with the challenge of identifying the zones that are useful for energy transfer and then removing the unused areas from the pedal design as much as possible. This challenge allowed LOOK to create a pedal that boasts the best weight-to-contact surface ratio on the market.

Lateral contact aid

The lateral contact aid guides the foot when locating the pedal and provides you with a point of contact even if your shoe is not yet engaged with the cleat. This wide contact area prevents your foot from sliding on the pedal body and provides consistent and reassuring support.

mechanism/geometry

The mechanism works independently of the external conditions (the forces in the mud are significantly different from those that occur in the dry state) and the more space makes it easier to remove various foreign bodies (mud, sand ...). These zones give the user a constant and stable feeling of being securely clipped in in all conditions.

Adjustable tension

An adjustable clamping screw allows you to adjust the engagement/release resistance to your personal level of competence.
