The XC model made history and remains the choice of the world's toughest bikers.
The new Extreme XC 2 stands for lightness and reactivity, whether in the rock garden or on a steep climb. The Hyperlight XC sole, developed in cooperation with Michelin, enables speed and grip.
ARS (Anatomic Reticular Support) technology, an exoskeleton that surrounds and adapts to the foot, distributes the stress of pedaling evenly and in a controlled manner.
With the new, advanced two-zone closure system with double X-Dial SLW3 twist lock, the pressure between the top of the instep and the toe can be adjusted with millimeter precision for an even better fit. The TPU protective layer is now even thinner and 10% more resistant. The Extreme XC 2 continues the legacy of Northwave mountain bike shoes.

ARS
The ARS technology (Anatomic Reticular Support) offers an exoskeleton that wraps the feet with the maximum adhesion and adapts to the different foot types. This ensures 100% even and controlled power transmission to the pedals.
SLW3
The SLW3 developed by X-Dial is unique and offers ultra-fast, micrometric closing. This compact mechanism is very light and intuitive: just turn the dial for fast and precise closing. The button on the side gradually releases the closure so that you can also benefit from millimeter-precise adjustment while riding.
