The ergonomically shaped back cushions of the Contact System nestle against the back and thus distribute the weight of the load evenly. On the one hand, this is easy on the back and ensures comfort, and on the other hand, loads are easiest to carry close to the body. Free spaces between the cushions are used for pleasant ventilation, as is the breathable, robust 3D Airmesh cover.

The result: ergonomically shaped Contact back cushions that keep the weight of the load close to the body and distribute it evenly offer back-friendly carrying comfort.

PFC free
High-performance materials with a PFC-free, dirt and water-repellent impregnation: To ensure the water and dirt-repellent properties, deuter uses a health-safe and environmentally friendly DWR (durable water repellency) coating that completely dispenses with PFC. This special surface treatment causes water to roll off the outside of the textiles. This keeps the material dry and nature clean.

600D PES
Woven from 600 denier polyester yarn and with a thick PU coating, the tear-resistant and light fabric can be used universally. When it comes to keeping the weight of the rucksack as low as possible with moderate use, this is the ideal choice. The "Deuter-Super-Polytex BS" variant is produced according to the strict Bluesign standard. Their equipment and resilience are identical.
