For the first time ever, SRAM's legendary Code brake now bears the Ultimate crown. The powerful brake has a new technology that significantly improves the look of your cockpit: Stealth.
The new lever design brings the brake line closer to the handlebar for a sleeker, more modern look. The proven inner workings remain unchanged, with SwingLink providing SRAM's unmistakable ride feel. The Code Ultimate offers tool-free reach and pressure point adjustment and is therefore very easy to adjust. To top it off, a carbon lever is combined with their Lever Pivot Bearing technologies. The best of SRAM just got better.

Bleeding Edge™
With this new brake fluid circuit, the bleed port has been moved to the underside of the caliper and has access to all four piston bores. This naturally fills the caliper with fluid during bleeding, allowing for easier and smoother bleeding.
SwingLink™
When you pull on a new SRAM brake lever, you'll immediately notice the difference. A shorter empty path. An optimized actuation of the brake pads. Due to the new cam design, a shorter lever travel is necessary to push the brake pads in the direction of the brake disc. That's nice, but there's more to perfect braking than just power. They need control. Many brake systems offer a shorter free travel - but at the expense of modulation. SwingLink solves this problem with its special cam shape. When the brake pads touch the brake disc, the force is modulated, avoiding the "sticky" brake feel. This creates the perfect balance between power and precision.
Lever pivot bearings
Sealed precision bearings on the rotary handle ensure clean, precise handle movement and enable smooth, one-finger operations.
