The XX SL Eagle T-Type rear derailleur impresses across the board

The XX Eagle Transmission rear derailleur fundamentally changes the relationship between the cassette and the rear derailleur. Designed as integrated, interdependent transmission components, the T-Type rear derailleur mounts around the wheel axle and directly contacts the cassette with a novel hanger-free interface. The breakthrough full-mount attachment method creates a much stronger connection and grips either side of the frame.

The new Transmission rear derailleurs can be coupled and set up just as intuitively as SRAM's Eagle AXS rear derailleurs. It features an overload clutch and a recessed profile that holds only the essentials for victory. It's easy to maintain and has a lower jockey wheel, called the Magic Wheel, that keeps spinning if an object gets stuck.

The XX SL Eagle Transmission rear derailleur also has a carbon cage, an exchangeable outer joint and a plain black B-knuckle cover. That means unrivaled shifting performance, low weight and unprecedented strength.

AXS™
AXS™ is SRAM's new integrated platform for connecting electronic bicycle components with software. The SRAM AXS™ app not only allows the rider to check the battery status, influence the shifting behavior and configure the controls according to personal preferences, but also to create maintenance plans and update the firmware.

eTap®
Wireless shifting, energy management of the batteries and mechatronics - SRAM's eTAP technology serves one goal: to offer you the most intuitive operation possible. SRAM calls the switching logic behind it eTAP. The right lever shifts to the higher gear, the left to the lower gear. You can control the chainrings using both levers. Simple, smooth and intuitive.

X-SYNC™
X-SYNC™ 1x chainrings from SRAM ensure maximum performance and durability. The long SRAM X-SYNC™ tooth edges engage the chain earlier than traditional triangle-shaped teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile as well as the rounded sloping edges support the chain guidance. In order to offer the best possible performance even in muddy terrain, the X-SYNC™ chainrings have recesses for the inner chain links and rollers to evacuate dirt and mud. Made in Germany, X-SYNC™ chainrings are an important part of SRAM's 1x™ drivetrain.
