The lightweight Tubolito bicycle tube made of thermoplastic

When it has to be fast again: the light and extremely compact S-Tubo-Road-700C also impresses with its extremely low rolling resistance, which puts butyl tubes in the shade and even has an advantage over latex products. With a 75% smaller pack size and the same robustness as standard tubes, the S-Tubo-Road-700C is the ideal choice as a replacement tube and in the fight for best times and personal records. Only suitable for road bikes with disc brakes and not for rim brakes.

The new generation of bicycle tubes

Tubolito combines the innovative high-tech material thermoplastic with a newly developed production technology. Seams are reduced to a minimum and remaining seams overlap widely.

The result is a unique, high-quality product - as if made from one piece. The test riders were enthusiastic about the combination of weight reduction and higher durability at the same time.

Tubolito hoses made of the high-tech thermoplastic material can withstand forces twice as high as standard hoses. The material can be stretched more than four times, which offers maximum protection against a puncture. A 0.75 mm test mandrel moves through a pre-drilled hole in the jacket at a defined speed. Tire pressure is 2.0 bar. The force and the distance to the tire burst are recorded. Tubolito is clearly convincing here: The puncture resistance in terms of punctures is twice as high as with standard tubes.
