Mavic Ksyrium S 25 Disc wheelset
The Mavic Ksyrium S Disc road bike wheels for disc brakes offer the perfect solution for everyday use thanks to their high reliability and durability. They are equipped with high-quality Infinity hubs, which are used in both the entry-level and high-end price segments. Additionally, they feature Mavic's proven QRM industrial bearings, which are maintenance-free until the bearings need replacing.
The ID360 Body System reinforces the wheels and ensures rapid power transfer. Eliminating tubeless tape on the rim saves 60 grams per wheel, thus facilitating acceleration. With improved aero spokes, the wheels benefit from better aerodynamics, increased stiffness, and a reduced risk of spoke breakage.
Mavic Care
With Mavic Care, you can extend the warranty to up to 3 years by registering your wheelset on the Mavic website within 30 days of purchase. Additionally, by activating the Crash Replacement program, you'll receive a discount of up to 40% on a comparable product if your wheels cannot be repaired after a crash or collision.
MyMavic app
Using the MyMavic app (available in the App Store and on Google Play) you can get individual advice on which tire width and tire pressure are best suited for your rim width and the respective surface.
Technologies used
Universal Standard for Tubeless (UST)
The rim is tubeless ready to ride – no rim tape is needed. The UST system improves traction, control, and comfort while reducing the risk of punctures and inertia.
Instant Drive 360 (ID360)
The new Instant Drive 360 freehub body system is exceptionally lightweight and features a fast-engaging ratchet system with a 9° engagement angle. A large rubber seal minimizes friction and ensures excellent sealing. The oversized axle and hardened aluminum body save an additional 40 grams.
Lightweight and robust (Maxtal)
This aluminum alloy, specially developed for Mavic, offers a better stiffness-to-weight ratio than the conventional 6106 alloy, thus ensuring optimal performance.
Stiffer and more stable (FORE)
Instead of drilling spoke holes through the rim, the holes are machined on the inside of the rim to preserve the outer structure. This increases the rim's strength fourfold and provides 20% greater stiffness, resulting in improved power transfer.
Stronger and smoother rim connection (SUP)
The Soudé Usiné Process (SUP) refines the rim after bending with a special treatment that provides additional stiffness and raises the rim's processing to a higher level.
Optimal energy transfer (ISOPULSE)
The spokes are double-crossed on the drive side and radially laid on the non-drive side. This guarantees efficient power transmission and ensures perfect balance of spoke tension on both sides of the wheel.
