The ARC 1400 Dicut wheels were developed in collaboration with the aerodynamics specialists from SWISS SIDE. The aero wheels support the complete system of rider and bike with minimal air resistance and superior stability under various conditions. The rim of the aerodynamically optimized wheel is identical to the ARC 1100 Dicut series. The ARC 1400 wheels have been upgraded with the 240 Dicut Aero hub and the Ratchet EXP system built into it for precise gearing. The ARC 1400 Dicut get right to the point: ideally equipped for the race against time.

Ratchet EXP
Easy maintenance: DT Swiss hubs are known for the no-tool concept. The ratchet system makes maintenance even easier with a small adjustment to the end caps. A single cylinder spring ensures that it clicks into place more quickly and completely. The complete interlocking of the toothed disks creates a large contact surface and thus small point loads, which leads to superior reliability. The integration of toothed lock washer and threaded ring reduces the number of individual parts and thus lowers the weight. The integration of the bearing in the threaded ring makes it possible to maximize the bearing spacing. The increased distance between the bearings supports the axis more broadly, which leads to less movement of the axis and thus less stress on the bearings and thus increases their service life.
Tubeless
All DT Swiss wheels are tubeless ready and the ASM versions are supplied with the tubeless tape and the corresponding valves fitted.
SINC Ceramic
It is the small details that make the difference and which DT Swiss attaches great importance to. SINC Ceramic ball bearings are based on precisely such details. And thanks to the optimization of these details, you simply roll away from the field, your buddies or your personal best on DT Swiss wheels with a SINC upgrade.

DT Swiss hubs are designed in such a way that they function optimally once they are installed in a bicycle. In order to achieve this, the clamping force created by the wheel fastening system must be taken into account when designing the hub. Optimal turning properties without adjustable bearing play.
Pro lock
In the Pro Lock process, a two-component adhesive is injected into the nipple thread, which enables extremely durable impellers to be built. As soon as the nipples are screwed in, the adhesive is activated, which hardens completely after approx. 6 - 7 hours at room temperature. Repeated re-centering is possible without any problems, whereby the adhesive force decreases slightly with each re-centering.
