Kneeling for cool, wet weather, with a warmer textile
With their breathable and thermoregulating properties, the R Winter Knee Warmers P1 are ideal for early spring, late autumn or mild winter days. They offer absolute comfort in cool, wet and windy weather. The textile of the knee warmers has been updated to keep you warmer even in wet weather. When temperatures rise and the road dries, they can be easily stowed in your jersey pocket. Now even more versatile: the low-bulk second-skin fit means they can be easily worn under the GT Thermo Shell Pants for additional insulation and protection.
Combine the knee warmers with the R Spring Fall bib shorts in wet weather in spring or autumn. Wear them under the GT Thermo Shell Pants in cooler, more demanding conditions.
FEATURED FABRICS
The RX Extreme textile is our most robust insulating material from the RX family. It is a brushed, thermo-regulating material with high breathability and a water-repellent finish, suitable for racing in rain, wind and cool temperatures.
Our AEPD 11 racingFit is an aerodynamic second-skin fit developed based on feedback from the WorldTour that provides all-round compression and stability to the body. The grip means they stay securely in place over or under bib shorts.
Highlights
- Acqua Shield Tec: An environmentally friendly, water-repellent finish that allows water to bead up from the textile surface and maintains a dry microclimate underneath.
- PILtec Plug-In: The cuff is provided with a light, ultra-breathable textile band. The micro-dot silicone treatment stabilizes the knee warmers and shorts. It ensures that a good hold is guaranteed even when wet.
- Raw Cut: Flat cuffs with low volume prevent friction when worn in combination with bib shorts, booties and shell pants.
