4 Season Compound
City tires must also function reliably in rain and slush. As a specialist in all-season tires for cars, MAXXIS has also applied this knowledge to bicycle tires and developed a rubber compound for all four seasons.
MaxxProtect
3mm thick special rubber under the tread is the puncture protection of choice for our Metro series. This safe protection is particularly suitable for the dangers of urban use.
E-bike E50 [E50]
E-bikes that support speeds of over 25 km/h require tires with a special legal certification in order to be installed. At MAXXIS, these tires with this certification are marked with the abbreviation E50.
UrbanPro Casing
The top models in our City and Cargo lines are based on this double carcass with 2x60tpi. A total of 4 fabric layers on the sides and 6 under the tread ensure maximum stability, high load reserves and very good puncture protection.
