Diverge Comp E5
Whether your goal is to escape on gravel roads away from cars and crowds, compete in your first gravel race, or simply bring the most versatile bike to the road or off-road, no bike beats the new Diverge . It's quite simply the fastest, most capable - and perhaps the most fun - alloy bike Specialized have ever built. It offers a fast and lively ride, but also stability and confidence when the terrain becomes rough. From the Future Shock 1.5 and all-new gravel geometry to industry-leading tire clearance, the new Diverge represents everything Specialized have learned over more than 40 years on road, gravel and off-road. The Diverge opens a whole new chapter in the gravel bike category, allowing you to imagine completely new rides. It's the ultimate getaway vehicle.
Starting with a premium E5 alloy frame and a full carbon FACT fork, Specialized have given the Diverge Comp E5 the Future Shock 1.5 for a fast, safe and comfortable ride on road, off-road and over thick gravel. SRAM's all-new 12-speed Apex groupset shifts gears smoothly on any terrain, and Axis Elite alloy wheels with Pathfinder Pro 42mm tires add even more capability and versatility.
Highlights
- Specialized 's premium E5 aluminum frame provides a stiff, lightweight and durable platform. Combined with their full carbon FACT fork, the Diverge E5 becomes a light, lively and versatile bike ready to tackle any surface
- Specialized have thrown the status quo of gravel geometry overboard. The new Diverge features the most advanced geometry they've ever developed for a drop bar bike, giving riders a capable and stable bike off-road that still feels responsive and agile on the road. Specialized have increased the reach of the frame, introduced a flatter head tube and a longer offset fork. All of this delivers incredible confidence and a secure feel in the dirt, while fitting shorter stems keeps the overall cockpit length the same and the steering stays lively. Specialized have kept the bike's bottom bracket low to increase stability, but high enough to use with 650b wheels if that's your problem
- Specialized have equipped the Diverge with a variety of rack mounts, including fork and top tube mounts, to ensure you can carry everything you need, no matter how far you ride or how long you plan to stay out there
- Nothing reveals the performance of a bicycle like tire clearance. That's why Specialied have given the new Diverge a whopping 47mm of tire clearance with a 700c wheel and 2.1 inches with a 650b wheel. Thanks to a drive-side chainstay that utilizes a machined aluminum beam behind the chainrings, Specialized have created clearance without using a fragile, dropped chainstay design or increasing chainstay length
