With the Synthesis balance bikes you are prepared for anything! The specialty of the Synthesis wheel sets are two different concepts for the front and rear wheel. The rear wheel is extremely stiff in order to be able to absorb force peaks and to maintain stability as well as directional stability up to the high speed ranges. Krankbrothers achieves this with more stable, thicker spokes and high spoke tension. The front wheel is designed to be a bit more comfortable to help dampen impacts and to keep handling grip and comfort as high as possible. For this purpose, CrankBrothers uses less high spoke tension and reduces the number of spokes built into the wheel. In addition, lighter, thinner spokes are used to achieve greater flexibility. The idea behind this setup is that the requirements for the front and rear wheels are often different, and you can get even more performance for the rider through different properties.
