Additional thermal insulation for the feet
The spear hood is a sock cover made from ultra-light, double-layer softshell material that can be worn inside the shoe over socks if additional heat-retaining insulation is required.
Based on the legendary fuguSpeer socks, ASSOS has succeeded in creating another light and intelligent design to protect the forefoot and toes with the spear hood. Thanks to the perforated version of your lightest double-layer SPHERE textile, protection with ultra-low volume and breathability are in balance. For days that don't require external toe protection or booties, but a little more fabric around the toes would be nice, this sock cover comes in handy to protect against icy winds and low temperatures. Easily stowed in your back pocket to keep you covered in changeable weather.
