The all-weather variant - now also for hookless wheels. Don't let the weather slow you down! With the 5000 in the all-weather version, you retain full control on wet roads. The material mix has been specially optimized for more wet grip.

The Continental GP 5000 AS TR is tubeless ready and compatible with hookless rims. It is available in sizes from 25 mm up to 35 mm wide. All widths are available with black or optionally cream-colored side walls. The black version benefits from Black Reflex technology, which improves visibility at dusk and in the dark without affecting the tire's appearance in daylight.

Tubeless ready

Lets you become one with the street. The lasered micro profile structure focuses on the shoulder area of the tire and offers you increased cornering grip.

Vectran Breaker - the reference in puncture protection
Vectran™ is a synthetically manufactured high-tech fiber based on a natural model. Like spider silk, Vectran™ is a liquid crystalline polymer (LCP). Vectran™ is spun from the molten liquid polymer Vectra and processed into a multifilament yarn. Spider silk as well as Vectran™ have an enormous tear resistance with the lowest weight. Exactly the right properties to be processed as a puncture protection insert in a Continental top tire. A Vectran™ breaker is lighter, more flexible and protects more effectively against cuts than comparable nylon breaker. The Vectran™ Breaker does not affect the rolling resistance.
