Slim formed, maximally cushioned

Ergon developers work very closely with athletes and teams. This is the only way to design products that meet the highest demands. The GFR1 also results from teamwork with top professionals. One of the many outstanding features: The grip is slim for maximum feedback, but offers a lot of cushioning in the palm area thanks to the slats on top.

Ideal hand position thanks to inside stop

The inside stop of the GFR1 provides direct orientation for fast manoeuvres, jumps or tricks, giving additional security, keeping your hand in the optimal position and ensuring that you can operate the shifter at all times.

Reduced effort

Pulling up the front wheel of your bike costs valuable energy every time. In order to minimize the gripping forces, Ergon has given the GFR1 a particularly pronounced lower grip zone for the fingers.

Grip rubber made in Germany

The material of the Ergon grips meets the highest quality standards, is durable and unique in the world for bicycle grips. The super-soft, UV-stable rubber compound of the GFR1 is developed and manufactured in Germany. Ergonomics, product design and engineering - everything made in Germany.

One screw – more security

Thanks to the high-strength aluminum inner clamp, the GFR1 cannot twist on the carbon handlebar. For even more safety on the bike!

Replaceable end plugs - particularly durable

The end plugs on the GFR1 can be replaced - an important factor for the longevity of the grips.
