Extremely robust MTB handlebars for downhill and enduro use
The Seismic carbon handlebar is at the forefront of Reverse Components handlebar development. Their goal was to create one of the strongest carbon handlebars while reducing vibration on long descents and rough terrain to reduce arm-pump.
There were and are many approaches to realize this, including filling the handlebars with foam. But to achieve this goal of effectively reducing vibration, you first have to start with the material. And that's exactly what they did. In close cooperation with their engineers and the test laboratory EFBE in Germany, Reverse Components looked for a solution. The result was a special processing technology for carbon laminates. These make it possible to produce a handlebar that is light and stable even under the toughest conditions, while at the same time absorbing shocks and reducing vibrations. Because especially on long descents in rough terrain, the arm muscles tire extremely (arm pump).
Withstands the toughest challenges
The Seismic carbon handlebar was tested according to the highest standard, the EFBE EPAC MTB-GR 2021. This test places the toughest demands on the material and, thanks to the safety level 5 approval, is also suitable for the most demanding e-bike and DH use.
Regardless of whether you master the routes of the Enduro World Series, chase the best time in DH runs, ride the biggest jump line in the bike park or are simply looking for the most durable and comfortable carbon handlebar for your flow rides, then the Seismic is the ideal carbon handlebars for you.
highlights
- Cutting Lines: For orientation if you need to shorten the handlebars (minimum width 720mm)
- Alignment Lines: As a guide for center mounting of the handlebars
- Reverse Sandpaper Stem Fixation: Roughened surface in the stem area to prevent twisting of the handlebars in the stem
- Reverse Sandpaper Grip & Brake Fixation: Roughened surface in the grip area to prevent twisting of grips, brake and trigger clamps

Test verdict
Test result: “Buying tip” in Mountain Bike 04/2023 (p. 52)Extremely robust MTB handlebars for downhill and enduro use
