The Shimano XT BR-M8020 brake caliper with 4-piston technology
The hydraulic 4-piston disc brakes fit seamlessly into the line-up of the DEORE XT component group. They were developed to enable an aggressive driving style even on the most demanding terrain while at the same time providing safety reserves. The new stoppers rely on SHIMANO's ICE TECHNOLOGIES thermal management system, which is used in the design of the brake calipers, the compatible brake discs and the corresponding pads.
